“SOLD OUT SHOW”…  200++.  Neil has left the building!  Just got home from the Youngtown Jam “3″ and man, what a terrific show it was.  Thanks to everyone who took part and to those who attended… your support of the Youngtown Rock and Roll Museum is much appreciated.  The museum will re-open in April 2011 but stay tuned to our blog for further stories and updates…..it’s only rock-n-roll!   A few photo’s of the event can be seen at November blog “Yahoos and Tattoos”.

UPDATE! The amazing Frank Wilks and Stan Endersby included in this year’s show – among other gigs, these guys toured with Bruce Palmer and Dewey Martin of Buffalo Springfield! For more info Google “Buffalo Springfield Revisited”…we are proud to have Frank and Stan join the line-up (See links at bottom of this post for more information).  It’s that time of year again… Come celebrate the music of Neil Young and help support the Youngtown Museum. Youngtown Jam “3″ will be held Saturday November 13th, 8:00PM, Coronation Hall (King Street), Omemee Ontario. This year’s line-up of performing artists will make for a fantastic evening and  proceeds will help to insure the future of the Youngtown Rock and Roll Museum into season four.   This is a family friendly event so bring the gang!    ( Note – The museum closes for the season after Nov. 13th. so come visit!)

    We were late getting to your museum though and gotta get there too this weekend

    Bringing ‘em back again for the tribute/jam … We all love to sing and play Neil”s songs
    In fact we are coming to audition for you this weekend ..the 14th Aug
    U & I spoke on the phone …”maybe you can use another Larry in the line up”
    Kitty (12yrs) has won 1st prize at several local town Fairs..
    As discussed on the phone last month i will phone your cell when we get close
    we are camping at Emily Fri & Sat night

    we (THE NEIL YOUNG’UNS) are playing this SAT SEPT 25 @ THE MONTREAL HOUSE (282 AYLMER ST) in Peterborough and are looking forward to coming to the museum beforehand!

    Bringing along my girl Diane who sings like an angel, and our son Bransen …he’s just 1yr – and Already One. He’s sure to make Everyone smile. The highlight of my crew is Diane’s daughter Kathleen (Kitty) 13 yrs old and a future star She will make you cry she sings so well Reveals her heart and soul

  6. The Youngtown Jam is always a great occasion, but seeing Frank Wilks & Stan Endersby this year is an unexpected bonus!
    I really like the fact that the Jam brings in musicians of varying levels of accomplishment, but all fueled by a common love for the music. It’s all about the tunes, eh?
