Neil Young – Still Relevant After Five Decades of Performing

Neil Young has been creating his art for over five decades. From his early musical beginnings in the 1960’s as a teenager performing with the Squires to his many present day pursuits. Neil Young follows his instincts, remains loyal to his sense of integrity, and isn’t afraid to step beyond the bounds of convention in whatever pursuit he undertakes. In so doing, Neil has been able to achieve and maintain a highly successful and respected place among his peers and fans alike. Perhaps most important, as an artist with a track record for being socially influential, Neil Young, his music and other projects, remain highly relevant to our times. Be it social comment, protest anthem, environmental concern, or quality entertainment, Neil has a voice. In truth, there doesn’t seem to be any keeping up with Mr. Young nor any sign of him slowing down. Indeed, it would be difficult to identify many artists or entrepreneurs able to create, never mind produce, such a vast portfolio nor leave such a huge imprint in the performing arts and beyond… and seemingly, from what we’ve been seeing in 2012, Neil may just be warming up.   Watch for the June 5th release of Neil Young & Crazy Horse – “Americana”
